[edit]Is it not Alister and Rory, not Donald and Rory?
Chemistry Teacher?
[edit]I thought the teacher was a Biology teacher, and that is why she got asked embarrasing questions all the time. bruce89 22:51, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Whistling man?
[edit]I can't seem to find any reference to the whistling man - every time he had to say the letter 'S' he inadvertently whistled through his teeth. So inevitably he ended up having to say it a lot. For example, ordering "special sweet & sour sauce" from a chinese takeaway, or reading out his will including "sterling silver salad servers" or "sixty shiny sovereigns" or "single surviving sailing standard" etc. Can anybody remember what he was called? He was called Mr. Simpson and he wasn't "whistling", he had a lisp. Though I think the four car dealers should be mentioned as well. If anybody doesn't know much about them, it's where they all talk about a subject (fandan, lottery, cats, etc.) and the last one does it in an overdramatic manner. Similar to when Bish & Bosh are on their tea break. --Burai 18:07, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
The Sawdust Pensioner
[edit]Surely the 'The Sawdust Pensioner' (what kind of a name is that for a character anyway?) is actually a stereotypical school janny rather than some random OAP? I'm not as old as the writers of Chewin' the Fat but I still remember the janitor from my school turning up wielding a bucket of sawdust whenever something had been spilled or, more usually, someone had been sick. If that's not the joke (i.e. school jannies thinking that every problem can be fixed with the liberal application of sawdust) then the character would make about as much sense as the current summary on the article page does e.g. bugger all. 62.189.108.219 (talk) 15:22, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
More frequent characters
[edit]We forgot the superhero that twists peoples nipples and then shouts at them "WHISTLE!!" the depressed woman that works in the arcade and is always taking pills, the man/lady with a massive moustash and is obessed with making people touch it and hat creepy little girl who destroys everything. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.66.25.108 (talk) 00:14, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
