Overall:
Pass/Fail:

  • link "premontane"?

-Done as an IP Editor (different person, just helping)

  • "The species' discovery led to hopes that more undescribed species existed in this portion of Colombia; since then, newly described bird species from central Colombia include the Magdalena tapaculo, Stiles's tapaculo, Antioquia brushfinch, and Antioquia wren." --> the structure of this sentence is confusing. could you restructure it?

-Attempted to fix (different person, just helping)

  • "It may form a superspecies with the dusky, cinnamon-vented, and scimitar-winged pihas." --> according to whom? why is this of interest? why is it unconfirmed?
  • Duplicate links in the description section for the terms "secondaries" and "tertials"

-Done (different person, just helping)

  • Duplicate link for Cordillera Central Mountains

-Done (different person, just helping)

  • In the Conservation section, mention who is describing the species as endangered.

  • It isn't necessary but do you have any more details on why the chestnut-capped piha was considered for the stamp?

-I believe I've added those details. 180.194.141.59 (talk) 05:29, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

180.194.141.59, you've added those details, but you haven't provided a source. You can't just go with what you think, even if you're right. There has to be a source! MeegsC (talk) 12:05, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I decided to delete it, there were no further information about the bird on a stamp.
  • It isn't necessary for GA, but could you add alt-text to your images? It greatly helps with accessibility.

-Done (different person, just helping.)

  • No edit wars or copyvio

Just letting you know that I will be a lot more busy over the next two weeks so I won't be able to respond to any messages that quickly. starsandwhales (talk) 21:16, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Idk how to ping User:Starsandwhales, but do you think some of my edits helped the problems? I tried to help but have no more info about the Piha being superspecies. 180.194.141.59 (talk) 05:32, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Starsandwhales and Pomatostomus: is this review still in progress? I notice User:Pomatostomus is inactive, but wouldn't like to see this GAN abandoned or linger here. Been about two months since last edit. Urve 08:54, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Review will not be completed

[edit]

I have just pinged Starsandwhales on their talk page, and they will not be returning to this review. Accordingly, I will be returning the nomination to the pool of those awaiting a reviewer without any loss of seniority; the next review will take place on a different page from this one.
