Will review this soon. Cheers, Sainsf (talk · contribs) 07:00, 5 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

General
  • Two copyvio concerns, appear to be copy-pastes: [1] [2]
  • Fix this link [3]
Lead
  • Looking at the article length, the lead should be at least two good paras long per WP:MOSLEAD
History
  • hardened analog L4 carrier cable (coax) Wikilinks would be helpful
  • home invasion (see Cheshire, Connecticut, home invasion murders) Simply link "home invasion" to the bracketed link
  • mother Jennifer and daughters Hayley and Michaela Petit Seems an odd way to put it, simply say "a mother and her two daughters". And who is William in the family?
  • Source for his accomplice Joshua Komisarjevsky was convicted of the murders and other crimes in October 2011?
Demographics
  • Place ref. 12 at the end of each para if that is the sole source for the section. It ensures verifiability.
  • Has there not been a more recent census?
  • For every 100 females age 18 and over "aged". Check for similar cases
Geography
  • Source for the 2nd para?
Climate
  • Needs an introduction. See GAs on places, you will find an intro to Climate that describes the seasons and general weather.
Politics
  • Link split-ticket to split-ticket voting
  • Mention "President Bush" by his proper name
  • There are many short sentences that break the flow.
  • Source for the last line of the first para?
Arts and culture
  • Why say "Museums and other points of interest" when only a museum is mentioned? Are there no other points?
  • I don't think locations are needed for the NRHPs, links are enough
Parks and recreation
  • The section needs to be rewritten properly. I would recommend merging with the previous section so that all points of interest are listed at one place and are in a systematic order, with every point sourced.
Education
  • Once again, each part needs a source
Transportation
  • Source for last line?
Prison system
  • These prisons explain the city's skewed male/female ratios How? I hope this is not OR?
Notable people
  • Each point will need a source
Sources
  • Many of the refs. need proper formatting, don't keep bare URLs
  • Don't give website names as publishers. Give proper names of the organizations.

In response to a request on my talk page I checheck two suspected instances of copyright violation in the article and removed them. I was able to prove conclusively using the Wayback Machine that both of these passages were copied from the source web pages rather than the other way around. I've not yet done the revision-deletion so as to afford you the opportunity to put the material into your own words. Please do this immediately. Please read the information I have placed on your user talk page about copyright and how it applies to Wikipedia. — Diannaa (talk) 14:04, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Closing note

The review has remained open for over a week without any response, and there are a large number of issues. I am going to fail this for now, but hope to see it renominated soon after the necessary changes are made. Sainsf (talk · contribs) 07:43, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
