Chesapeake Climate Action Network is a 501(c)3 organization. We are not advertising for a company!! Please do not delete this page. I'm trying to raise public awareness about our mission. We believe that citizens much take action to help stop global climate change. We provide access to education and assistance to reduce global warming. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lasher04 (talk • contribs) 14:27, 11 June 2007
Lasher04: please sign your posts. The problem here is that, although you are not advertising for a company, you are a representative of an organization writing about that organization. To be considered neutral, you should go elsewhere and lobby for other editors to create the page, as it could be construed as a conflict of interest to edit a page about a group that you are a member of. If you are going to write about something that you are a part of, you must make sure you have several sources to back up each of your statements. This will help to avoid some COI issues. For now, I suggest that you go the the WikiProject page that this is relevant to and ask other editors to work on this. Cheers, Murphy2010 (talk) 20:20, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
