Theology dept

I remember, in 1980ies on a standard bus excursion on Chrnivtsi, they told that the Chernivtsi University is the only Soviet state University that has a Theology department and is qualified to award the kandidat and doctor degrees in theology. Maybe the Soviets closed the Theology Dept and then reopened it, but can you check it was indeed closed. abakharev 22:25, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
