Orphaned references in Cherantha de Silva
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Cherantha de Silva's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 21:08, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Reverted edits
[edit]Jhanan231, I reverted the changes due to the number of referencing errors they introduced. If you were the one that made the original changes, you should go back and do them properly.
If you look at the references at the bottom of the article, you will see that 13 refs are generating a missing title error. Even more of a problem are refs 32-34 which are causing even more serious errors.
You can re-add the changes one-by-one and verify they are correct each time with SHOW PREVIEW, or you can try to fix them in the current version. If you need help, try asking at the WP:TEAHOUSE. MB 17:30, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you MB. I will do as requested.
- Hello, the edits have been completed as requested. However, I was finding it very difficult to correct the problem under "Achievement" . Could you be kind enough to fix the problem or guide me through it. Everything else has been fixed that is the only persistent problem that I cannot fix Jhanan231 (talk) 02:33, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
- Jhanan231, Don't reply in new sections to an existing conversation, use colon to indent as I have done above. Another editor has fixed the duplicate/undefined ref errors. You can see what they did to learn. There are still three refs without titles to be fixed. MB 23:32, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
