Synonyms

Heya you need to clear up what a synonymy is. Chelodina burrungandjii and Macrochelodina burrungandjii are not synomyms, this is a recombination. This synonymy belongs in the genus account on Chelodina not here. Cheers, Faendalimas ^talk 22:12, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

While I understand that Chelodina burrungandjii is not a synonym as it is the original name I don't see why you say Macrochelodina burrungandjii is not synomyms. Macrochelodina burrungandjii was used, it is a synonym in the English language sense(although maybe not in taxonomy). Regards, SunCreator ^(talk) 00:25, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
