Hello! I have started a review of this article. Before I begin my review I would like to thank the nominator and all other contributors for their work. This article is about a group of people, which are sensitive topics as well as a large topic. My main concern with this article is that it is quite small for an article about a (sub)ethnic group. At a minimum, a page of this topic should have history, some demographics if available, cultural and religious information at a minimum, if they are not culturally or religiously distinct perhaps this article should just be a subsection of the Kurds article. I have some points about the current content:
- 1. Your lead is a summary of your article, and the information in it should be found in your main article. e.g. the Russian conquests of the Caucasus should be mentioned outside the lead.
- 2. Adding to point 1, the main article is missing information. It does not explain how or why they are refugees, and only gives numbers and some very general information.
- 3. Overall the history section is rather sketchy and missing decades of time, or only has 1-2 lines of information.
- 4. The villages & politics section is confusing, it has no introduction or explanation, is over 30 years old, is missing information, and to be honest, does not seem neutral. Why a table of villages and their political affiliations at all?
- 5. The article is most definitely not broad in coverage unfortunately, and needs to have more about their culture/society.
Considering all of the above, I unfortunately can not pass this article based on the GA criteria. Substantial additions and restructuring are needed. I will put the review on hold for 7 days to allow time for any comments, rebuttals or potential edits.
