This article covers the same tradition as mentioned in the Chaturmas article. Skr15081997 (talk) 04:45, 7 September 2014 (UTC)
Elsewhere
[edit]Given that other countries may not have a wet season, or at least in the Southern Hemisphere the timing is reversed, how is Chaturmasya supposed to be observed in those localities? Also, given that the weather conditions are said to affect the body's constitution, surely elsewhere the timing of observation must logically be adjusted. Otherwise it makes no sense apart from unquestionably following religious protocol. Wokepedian (talk) 13:16, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
- That applies not only to other Hindu festivals as well and also of festivals of other religions too. For example, many Australians celebrate Christmas with a barbeque on the beach!Jonathansammy (talk) 17:03, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
