I'm looking for sources for this article. I'm no expert (in fact, I'm a beginner), but I'm having a hard time understanding "charu" as the transliteration of a Sanskrit word.
A possible Sanskrit word is चारु or cāru (in IAST transliteration -- no "h"). However, I'm not able to find any forms of this word in this Ramayana word list (though the article says it frequently describes Rama).
Interpreted as Hindi (not Sanskrit), the same devanagari glyphs (चारु) seem to be transliterated as chaaru, a word that means "beautiful," according to Google Translate.
"Charu" does seem to be a popular name, though.
So, I can't help with this article at this point. But I suspect that "charu" is not a precise transliteration of Sanskrit, at least according to IAST. Would be happy for a guru to weigh in.
