The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply → Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply – Per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (definite or indefinite article at beginning of name) because the Institute's website omits the article. re/greg/ex;{mbox|history} 21:27, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

- Rename to Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply without the ampersand. No need for either article or ampersand. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:20, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
- Support. WP:THE clearly says don't have the The, while MOS:& clearly says do have the &. IMO the guidelines are not entirely consistent but there seems no reason not to follow them in this case. Note that neither is a case of adopting an official name but rather that the official use of the name is an example of usage, which is all the respective guidelines require. - MOS:& promotes keeping the ampersand in an organisation title. re/greg/ex;{mbox|history} 22:48, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
