Note
[edit]Seemed to me that she's been quite a prolific (character?) actress without being very high-profile and since there wasn't a page for her when I looked for her decided to create one. Also, as the sister of John Le Carre (aka David Cornwell) seemed notable by association? Scavenger2012 12:24, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Bum
[edit]Wasn't she involved in a famous court case where she sued a critic for describing her bum as too big? This was quite a story in it's time and probably deserves mentioning if someone can find the reference. Twizzlemas (talk) 21:55, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- It was famous-ish, at the time, but I'm not sure it should be in here now. Google has a copy of a newspaper article here. She was awarded £10,000 in damages, possibly making up for her undeservedly missing that year's Best Actress for Wild Honey. --217.155.32.221 (talk) 20:25, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

- The above web page has been re-edited. Still several pix of Cornwell, but the one I refer to above is now twenty-eighth.--217.155.32.221 (talk) 11:14, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
