Hi, im French patroller. Im trying to remove this far right POV pushing. This event is not notable in this biography, and Le Point is not a good enough source to supporte the opposite.
Far right (Éric Zemmour) and his supports tried to make Charline Vanhoenacker an antisemitic person by this event. And emphasizing that Éric Zemmour is jewish is a POV pushing, because it is a diversion of the source. It is completely stupid to suggest that giving a far-right activist a Hitler mustache would be anti-Semitic because he is Jewish, it has absolutely no connection. This is the narrative of the far right, and it has never reached Twitter and FoxNews-type television sets in France.
Thanks to remove that. Chouette bougonne (talk) 11:19, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Chouette bougonne (talk) I basically agree with you. When I started to rewrite the article on 17 July 2024, I tried to concentrate on the many important facts of this biography. Further, I have tried to make her activities more understandable to international readers who might not be familiar with French media and humour (which can be quite different from other cultures). I guess this depends on the assessment of individual readers, and the statistics on page views will show the interest outside of the French WP. Munfarid1 (talk) 17:38, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
