Death, grave
[edit]Hello. Somebody thinks Segar died on December, 10 1957 in Chicago, and is buried in Alsip: Charlie Segar at Find a Grave. Regards, Xavier 90.39.116.1 (talk) 11:36, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- Find a grave is not a reliable source because it is user generated – in fact, the entry is copied from this article (see Wikipedia:External links/Perennial websites#Find-a-Grave). However, because of the lack of info about Segar, FaG has been added as an external link only. —Ojorojo (talk) 14:41, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, it's why I didn't put it directly in the article. Thanks. Xavier 90.39.116.1 (talk) 06:40, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
well, the charles segar, who died 1957 in chicago, is listed as MUSICIAN on his certificate of death (his birth year was given as 1900/sic ... actually he was born 1909, august 29 in stone mountain, GA = according to his WWII draftcard & he was listed as musician/entertainment in the 1940 census)... by the way, findagrave is quite a real reliable source or so ... all the best, hilmar wensorra 2003:E2:FF21:301:6473:AAD1:95F6:4522 (talk) 07:08, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
