Infobox format

[edit]

@PeeJay: - can you please stop with your nonsense? You have insulted me in edit summary and your only rationale for the change is literally "I like it". The current version is long-standing and WP:STABLE and matches the infobox documentation at {{Infobox football biography}}. GiantSnowman 08:38, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The infobox documentation shows the parameters on separate lines because that's how infobox documentation works. There is nothing in Wikipedia policy, guidelines or anything else that says we have to format templates in any particular way in the code. You're being an absolute jobsworth because you like it a certain way, without even considering that having all the parameters for a player's time at a single club on a single line makes it easier to see which parameters go together. Stop being so anal about things and learn to be more flexible. – PeeJay 12:25, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Again - why are you changing it other than it is your preference? I disagree it is 'easier' and I note none of the other editors of this page have raised such concerns, just you... GiantSnowman 13:55, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and it's not a personal preference, I am merely respecting the long-standing version - see e.g. Remeao Hutton which I edit frequently and uses your version of the infobox, and which I have not amended to bring into my alleged preference... GiantSnowman 13:58, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
