Isn't this guy the same as Charlie Harrison (footballer, born 1861)? According to the external link in the article, this player's middle initial was E, and the other Charlie Harrison apparently had two spells at Newton Heath, including when this guy was supposedly there, even though there's no record of any other Charlie Harrisons ever playing for Newton Heath/Manchester United. Even though one was a goalkeeper and this one apparently played at full-back in his only notable appearance for Newton Heath, I find it hard to believe that they were different individuals. – PeeJay 16:06, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
- I just stumbled across this article @PeeJay, only three years after your original comment, and thought it was a bit strange. I’ve done a bit of digging on this player, but haven’t found much as of yet. Did you find anything to suggest they were same individual or did you find any sources on him which suggest otherwise? Nonetheless, I have found myself scratching my head on this one. Fats40boy11 (talk) 08:07, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
