Quarterback
An IP editor has removed the long-standing and unsourced claim that Crist played gridiron football as a quarterback for Wake Forest University. This appears to be a claim that he has promoted ([1]); while I've found claims (in non-sports sources) that he "played" at Wake Forest [2] I'm not sure there's any claim he ever entered a competitive game. Based on Sports Reference for 1977 (and adjusting the URL back to 1974) I believe he was not ever part of the varsity squad. The 1975 media guide apparently listed him, and he was at Wake Forest for 2 years. power~enwiki (π, ν) 00:28, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Charlie Crist
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Charlie Crist's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
