Hello - I am friends with Charles' granddaughter. I've noticed that this article changed his place of birth from Iowa to Ohio. I believe Iowa is the correct state. I'll ask his granddaughter to make sure.

I've also got more family info. and photos of one of the first toasters Charles made, and I'd like to add that info. to this article.
