Previous post on Jewish descent
[edit]Previous on the talk page there was posting stating he was of German Jewish descent. I didn’t see any references to that. Charles’ great great grandfather, Johann Jacob Pfizer (1684-1759), was Lutheran Theologian and he himself was described as “Not religious himself, he regarded with amusement Alice’s early enthusiasm for a Congregational church, but did nothing to dissuade her from joining it” in the reference article.--CSvBibra (talk) 16:15, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- There's a lot of "talk" on Wikipedia, and not just on the talk page. Nothing in his bio suggests he had any Jewishness, and in fact, it suggests he was very Christian. Christian is one of his names and he built a Lutheram Church. Jews don't typically name their children Christian or build Lutheran churches. Today, Pfizer is no longer a German-American company. Today Pfizer is no longer a German-American owned firm. Albert Bourla, its CEO, is Jewish and one of its top 3 shareholders. 83.166.57.200 (talk) 06:20, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
