Blockson Middle School

One of the middle schools in Norristown, formerly known as Stewart Middle School, was renamed to Blockson Middle School in 2023 in order to recognize Norristown's prominent African-American community, alongside renaming an elementary school, Gotwals, after Alice Davenport, Norristown's first black teacher. 100.14.162.203 (talk) 15:04, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
