To Dan Allosso - what is the basis for the claim that Charles Knowlton was "instantly cured" upon marriage to "Tabitha"? You have deleted a helpful section desribing Knowlton's most noteworty work. Most, if not all of what you have replaced it with has no reference. MBarrieau (talk) 16:00, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
The phrase "instantly cured" is actually Knowlton's own words, from the autobiographical article that Stephen Tabor published in the Boston Medical and Surgical Journal after CK's death. The fact that Mason Grosvenor became an Aetna general agent can be found in his obituary in the Quincy Daily Journal, 1886, which is accessible via Rootsweb. These were both slight attempts at ironic humor on my part, and the article might be better off without them -- but on the other hand I don't see that they actually diminish the factual nature of the piece.
As for not citing, my version of the page had more citations than the one you apparently prefer. But I really don't care anymore. Do what you want with it. I'll post my story on my own site.
