Tsims23 Good day. Thank you for helping up on the merge. However, the discussion need to be closed first before the merging can be taken place. Do note that I have informed an uninvolved editor to do the merge and once the merge closing is done, than you can do the merge. I have revert you edits which you can fight them on the history page where you can find all the info which was revert to put them back in the body text. Check back this talk page in a two days and I believe by then the merge discussion will be closed. Thank you and stay safe. Cassiopeia(talk)01:35, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The two articles on the same guy should've been merged but he should be moved back to Charles Jourdain (fighter) to distinguish the entirely separate 19th-century Charles Jourdain (scholar) (Wikidata Q4181876). The other guy is probably less popular at the moment but he appears in numerous citations around the project and is likely going to be more notable over the long term. — LlywelynII17:44, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
