His Residence
[edit]"and he spent most of his life there" (in Leuven, Belgium), is directly contradicted by the rest of his biography. De la Vallée-Poussin spent many years of his life residing in the United States, in Boston, Massachusetts, and in Paris, France. De la Vallée-Poussin also traveled and lectured extensively in cities over the United States, Canada, and other countries. During his lifetime, that took a lot of time.
"and he spent most of his life there," is an obvious piece of plagarism from some source that was not even correct itself.
That statement is rather like claiming that Thomas Edison spent most of his life residing in his hometown in Ohio, when he actually spent much of his life living in New York City, New Jersey, and Ft. Myers, Florida.
