Sir Charles Henry Harper:
- educ. Blundells School and Exeter College, Oxford (1896-99).
- 2 rugby blues at Oxford and played for England 1898/9, Barnstaple, and Devon..
- colonial office: initially West Africa. (was Senior Political Officer, British Forces, Togoland, in 1914.
- Sir Charles Harper was governor of St. Helena from 1925-1932.
The Charles below has nothing to do with the Governor of St. Helena. The biography below should be deleted.
