Need research help
[edit]I shamelessly lifted much of the basic biographical sketch from Cornell Maritime Press. Until someone can collect more detailed information on Mr. Geer, that will have to do. As a book illustrator, he usually gets second billing or no billing on dust jackets. Are there any Wikipedians out there who may know the illustrator in person, or know how to get in contact with him for an interview? If he served in World War II, he must be getting on in years, and time is running out. Quicksilver 18:59, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Charles Geer. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://amres.com/catalogs/PLB3.asp
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

Can you please explain why an image of my mother, Anne Stevenson's book, for which I hold the only copyright, has been deleted? I own the copyright for the text and the cover image by Charles Geer, which was given to my mother at the time of publication? I don't really how much more right I could have to the image, frankly!
