- "environmental test chambers" link?
- Done
- "aircraft and aerospace industries. His test chambers were also used by the commercial industry" sort of saying the same thing, so merge.
- Done
- "National Aeronautic and Space Administration" fewer people recognise this than NASA, so stick with the common name.
- Done
- "formal schooling is as a " he's dead, right?
- Done
- "Conrad's parents were James and Ella. He was born " perhaps Conrad was born to parents James and Ella in..."?
- Done
- This is news to me, was the Car ferry in question a railway one or an actual car one??
- Done Correct = Conrad's father worked on train ferries for railway vehicles. The ships later in the article at Lake Michigan Carferry Service were railroad ferries when constructed. Conrad converted the ship SS Badger (which I watch come into Ludington and leave everyday from my 7th floor senior apartment) from a railway ferry that crossed Lake Michigan to an automobile carrier at a cost of $1.5 million (1992 dollars).
- "in 1935.[3] From 1935" repetitive.
- Done
- "courses to learn refrigeration" learn about?
- Done
- "Conrad's first career job was in 1937. During this time Conrad" merge.
- Done
- "over three hundred dollars" more than $300, and inflate.
- Done
- "Conrad got involved" became rather than got?
- Done
- "-125 degrees Fahrenheit" use convert template and a minus sign rather than a hyphen.
- Done
- " extreme temperature environmental chambers" link env test chambers first time.
- Done
- "the National Aeronautic and Space Administration. The" NASA again.
- Done
- "Conrad, Inc and" Inc.
- Done
- "60,000 square feet" convert.
- Done
- "I.B.M., I T & T," aren't these normally IBM and IT&T? Could link them.
- Done
- "and Project Apollo national" -> "and the Apollo program"
- Done
- "chambers did cooling or heating" chambers cooled or heated.
- Done
- "- 100 degrees Fahrenheit" minus signs here and on the conversion.
- Done
- Link Xerox.
- Done
- And Eastman Kodak.
- Done
- "SS Badger" ->"SS Badger" in caption.
- Done
- "three ships called SS Badger, SS Spartan and SS City of Midland 41 from" -> "three ships, SS Badger, SS Spartan and SS City of Midland 41, from"
- Done
- ""enterprise LMC Lake Michigan Car Ferry Service" why italics? It wasn't before.
- Done
- ".[16][A][17] " I would put footnote then refs.
- Done
- "The S.S. Badger is claimed" -> "SS Badger"
- Done
- "Michigan Great Lakes" link.
- Done
- "four hundred feet long" 400 feet and convert.
- Done
- " It does almost 500 crossings" it makes.
- Done
- "six hundred passengers and just under two hundred vehicles (motorcycles, automobiles, RVs, trucks) on" 600, 200. And it looks like it's not a rail
ferry...!
- Done Correct = Conrad converted the train ship SS Badger in 1992 to an auto ferry
- "in the morning of February" just "on February" will do.
- Done
- "from 1995 on" no "on" needed.
- Done
- That's it on a first run. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 16:09, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
