[edit]No, the Channel 4 Banned season occurred in 1991 or 92 and featured among other things the TV premiere of Monty Python's Life Of Brian a screening of the cinema version of Scum, as well as Tony Harrison's film-poem V and the cinema version of Dennis Potter's Brimstone & Treacle. This is the Banned Season most people will associate with Channel 4, not the 21st century season.

- I agree. The 1991 banned season is certainly the one I recall. I've added some information about this together with a reference from Channel 4, but have kept the 2004/5 details too. May as well include both of them. I'll also add the 1991 banned season to the 1991 in British television article since it recieved a lot of attention at the time.
