Name
Why is this company called Changan (or Chang'an)? Is it linked to Xi'an in some way?
- Not directly. Chang'an Auto took on its name simply because Chang'an had a great cultural significance in China. It's like the Great Wall Motors, which is headquartered nowhere near the Great Wall. -JesseW900 (talk) 13:19, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
Products - Current models
Hello Wikipedians - The "Current models" section is out of date and does not reflect Changan's current lineup, which can be seen at http://www.globalchangan.com. Changan vehicles available today are also more highly contented than they were in the past. While I don't have a production breakdown, it's possible the "no-frills" descriptor (in the first paragraph) referencing primary production composition may no longer be valid. The Changan CS15 SUV launched earlier this year and should be shown as a current model. Blahimmel (talk) 17:58, 18 October 2016 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Blahimmel (talk • contribs) 15:51, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
