Authenticity check: A search reveals that the phrase "regarded by many" appears in the text. Is the phrase a symptom of a dubious statement? Could a source be quoted instead? Perhaps the "many" could be identified? Might text be edited to more genuinely reflect specific facts?

Zhang DaqianChang Dai-chien — There is no reason to believe a person who fled China in 1948 and never set foot since would agree his name to be romanized in pinyin. Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 19:15, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Meeting with Picasso 1953 or 1956 or both?

[edit]

The current article has Chang Dai-chien meeting with Picasso in 1953. That claim is sourced and cited, but I've seen other mentions that the meeting was in 1956. Did they meet twice? Is one of the dates (1953 vs. 1956) erroneous (i.e., the cited source is in error, or other sources are in error)? --Quartermaster (talk) 14:21, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The works of Chang Dai Chien (as opposed to his forgeries)

[edit]

The current article lacks such a section. Apart from being a master forger of the greatest painters of China,Chang was one of the greatest himself. Museums in Taipei and Beijing have the best collections of his work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.157.131.197 (talk) 04:55, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
