notability
“ | Check out the first-ever screens of the game in action. If that’s not enough, we have the first look at Cryptic Studios’ latest superhero MMO, Champions Online. The City of Heroes developers are taking on PCs and consoles, too, letting us all unleash our inner heroes—or villains. | ” |

“ | Nothing else is known about the title, save an upcoming preview in Game Informer. It is unknown whether the game is a sequel or follow-up to City of Heroes as well | ” |
"Real" doesn't trump "notable". Corvus cornixtalk 23:07, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- WHAT?!?!?!
- Major developer Cryptic Studios
- Champions (roleplaying game) license.
- Every news source is reporting this right now.
- Seventh generation console MMORPG
- You have GOT to be kidding. You're going to be reposting this article if you delete it. (rolling eyes) JAF1970 (talk) 23:25, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- There's nothing to write an article about. And I'm not going to be deleting anything, because I'm not an admin. Corvus cornixtalk 23:27, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- There's more info here than other articles that started, like Tetris Splash, which was just something spotted on a German ratings board at first. A major preview in a gaming magazine, press releases by Cryptic, and major news airplay. It's more than enough, especially with the fact Crypic was developing Marvel Universe Onine when it was cancelled, so this is their THIRD superhero-themed MMORPG. Oh, and also mentioned on the front cover, too. JAF1970 (talk) 23:53, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think when a major developer announces a multi-platform MMORPG based on the license from a Hall of Fame inducted role-playing game, that qualifies as notable. Rigel1 (talk) 18:51, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Official sie is up. Someone archive this. :p JAF1970 (talk) 20:39, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
