Are there two Chama, Colorados?
[edit]While checking a geographic reference[1] for this town, I discovered that two are listed, in different counties with different elevations![1][2]
What's the protocol when there are two towns in the same state with the same name? -- Ken g6 15:26, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- I believe the other Chama, Colorado, is a ghost town. There are often more than one town of the same name in the same state. You normally distinguish towns of the same name by adding the county name, e.g., Twin Lakes, Adams County, Colorado, and Twin Lakes, Lake County, Colorado. --Buaidh 16:22, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! That helped at Coal Creek, Colorado, too. -- Ken g6 19:27, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
