The 'Link Rot' you may have been referring to is; http://www.leotrippi.com/luxurytravelblog/2014/08/04/our-little-gem-with-gloria-theiler/ Which has now been reinstated. Please could you specify which links are not responding correctly. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Florian343 (talkcontribs) 16:52, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Florian343. The tag was not directed at that specific link but at the citation style. Simply copying and pasting the URL of an online reference is not helpful in the event of linkrot. It is preferable to use proper citation templates when citing sources. See Wikipedia:Bare URLs for more information.  SmileBlueJay97  talk  17:11, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The 'Link Rot' notice has been removed as the problem has now been resolved according to the guidelines stipulated in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources/Example_style The following message was sent to SmileBlueJay97 who initially input the notice. "

Hi SmileBlueJay97, (again)
Just wanted to let you know that i have read through the page entitled;
After carefully reviewing the instructions and outlined guidelines on how best to overcome 'LinkRot' i have decided to add the website in the referencing form of a URL beginning with " https:// "at the bottom of the paragraph with the date YYYY/MM/DD of the subject matter specifically related.. I am not sure if this is acceptable let alone the proper way of doing it, which is why i was hoping you could shed some light.. before i do anything incorrect? Thanks again for your time and support! --Florian343 (talk) 22:59, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

" Also please review the ==Source== section with date and logged URL's. Please let me know if anyone objects. Thank you.--Florian343 (talk) 09:57, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
