Origin of "Chéticamp"
[edit]I don't think that's where the name comes from. Someone must have put that in because the name sounds like "shitty camp". -- Denelson83 10:56, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Village not town
[edit]Cheticamp is a village and is not a town. There is no mayor... —Preceding unsigned comment added by BRoc91 (talk • contribs) 17:31, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
Pronunciation
[edit]I haven't been on Cape Breton in 40 years, but I pronounce "Cheticamp" as English, with a 'p' and an English 'ch'. What is the correct pronunciation as an English name? Varlaam (talk) 14:46, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
