The picture is of a merchantman being rebuilt in Dieppe in 1854. As all the merchantmen Ceres for which we have articles had been broken up before 1820, and were English, it would be extremely improbable that the photo referred to any of them. Acad Ronin (talk) 01:08, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
