Finding Humans
[edit]As far as I know - is not true but with the help of my friends, and my knowledge in this subject is restricted to little more than common sense - the original Cerebro machine is not so restricted in its targets. Remember that the version which Xavier is tricked into using is not the original version - it is built by Stryker for only one purpose: killing mutants. Stryker has no need to steal the components of the machine which enable it to 'track' humans - indeed he may have deliberatley declined to take these as a safety precuation for this highly dangerous attempt to kill all the mutants. This is shown in the movie by the reconstructed Cerebro having only half the panels which line the inside face of the sphere. When Magneto, using his knowledge of the machine, moves the pannels around he 'rewires' the macine to be capable of tracking humans - presumably if Xavier were to attempt to track mutants in this configuration, he would fail. However, the 'original' Cerebro machine features a complete set of interior pannels, which makes it capable of trackign both mutants and humans, indeed at the same time (as shown earlier in the film when Xavier demonstrates to Wolverine that "we are not as alone as you think"). The Bigger Picture
[edit]I uploaded this image of Cerebro and put it up, but I think it would be better to change it. I don't like the it, but it was the only one not from the movie I could find.

Speculation
[edit]There are a couple of places in the Film section with uncited left-field speculations. Anyone got any sources? If not, I'll get rid of them. Noclevername 19:28, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Cerebra Chamber.jpg
[edit]Image:Cerebra Chamber.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:01, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
