Concerning article :-"Ceramium I have has trouble before when repeating a reference. Will be grateful for help, not just putting things right but letting me know what I did wrong! When repeating what is wrong (for example) with: <ref name=''Maggs 93''/>Osborne 10:12, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're using double-single-quotes ('') rather than the correct double-quotes ("). These may look the same in many fonts, but they are different to computers, and only the double-quotes will allow the reference to work. (I think you can use single single quotes in this context as well, but using single double quotes is safest.) --ais523 11:18, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Repoduction

[edit]

The carpogonium is certainly diploid and releases diploid spore which settle, grow to produce diploid plants. These diploid plants release haploid tetraspores. Although I know this to be almost certainly true I have not found it stated in the references! I'm working on it.Osborne (talk) 20:09, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Episperma

[edit]

Episperma is a synonym, but I can't source it. Could someone try to? For now, I'll leave the redirect, but it needs explained in the text, or deleted. --69.226.103.13 (talk) 06:17, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
