Central Groupoids in 'Equational' Project

@David Eppstein, thanks much, this a terrific --- and curiously timely --- article. I was interested in knowing more about central groupoids because they came up discussing with a friend Terry Tao's recent project to characterize implications between various algebraic equational laws. Are you by any chance involved with that, or is it just a coincidence?
