Ambassador
[edit]Where is it listed that ambassador's names should not be listed? I've been writing bilateral relations articles for awhile and have never seen that "rule".--TM 02:12, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- it is not normal practice, in bilateral articles (and I've edited 100s of these). the other issue ambassadors change all the time, the best place to find these is on official goverment foreign ministry websites. LibStar (talk) 02:14, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- The ambassador from China to CAR and CAR to China is EXTREMELY relevant to their bilateral relations. I am going to readd the info. If you revert or remove it, that is a violation of WP:3RR.--TM 02:36, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- no it isn't. and you've failed to get consensus on this nor reflect normal practice. please WP:COOL down. LibStar (talk) 02:38, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- What is normal practice? I've written probably a couple dozen articles and always include ambassadors whenever possible. Yes, it is a violation of the 3 revert rule if it occurs.--TM 02:39, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- one has to be warned and then an admin takes action. are you going to add ambassadors to the hundreds of bilateral articles now? LibStar (talk) 02:40, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- If I find information on ambassadors while editing bilateral articles, then I am going to add the relevant information. I agree that "current" is a terrible phrase on wikipedia and have edited it out.--TM 02:42, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
