Neutrality & accuracy

[edit]

I've done a little cleanup on this article, but I am very uncomfortable with this article. It seems that the authors of the article are using some of the references to draw conclusions (original research) and overreaching with regard to what the ref says vs. what is included in the article. I've also attempted to remove a good bit of the glaring WP:NPOV problems (characterizing critics, rationalization, etc). This article still needs a lot of work. Tags applied. /Blaxthos ( t / c ) 21:35, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure what you think is not factually accurate. Also, what is POV? Give examples. Putting a tag and then saying it is bad is like just putting a tag with no explanation. Your complaint about original research requires a different tag. Also, what do you consider to be original research in this article? For an article of its size, it seems to be very well sourced. I'm confused.PStrait (talk) 06:11, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FAIR criticism

[edit]

I suggest removing this section, since it doesn't have a citation:

The media watchdog group Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR) has challenged CMPA's non-partisan claim, based on the argument that much of its funding has come from conservative sources, and that its founder, Dr. S. Robert Lichter, once held a chair in mass communications at the American Enterprise Institute and was a Fox News contributor.

If no one objects, I'll come back later and make the change. (I'm new to editing stuff on Wikipedia, not sure of the proper protocol.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattjduffy (talkcontribs) 19:31, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mattjduffy, I dug up the cites and put them in the article, so hopefully this addresses your concerns. Yilloslime (t) 20:21, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is very shoddy...

I've cleaned up parts of it.PokeHomsar (talk) 18:51, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
