Good information.
[edit]This article has good information, but right now it needs heavy cleanup, so I am engaged in doing same. GeorgeLouis (talk) 01:06, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
I added quite a number of stories from the Santa Clarita Valley Signal as External Links on the Article Page. Anybody working on this story might consider using them instead (or alongside) the info from the developers. I will try to find articles from the L.A. Times as well. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 19:07, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
I found several news stories in the L.A. Times that can be used in building this article. You can read them on line if you have access to a library card. See your local library or go to its Web site. These stories, like those above, should be used to leaven the heavy dose of public relations provided by the Centennial developer. GeorgeLouis (talk) 19:39, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Inline sources needed
[edit]Everybody interested in this new residential-commercial-business development should be happy that this article was begun, but now it needs to have inline sources added. To this end, I am placing an Inline tag at the top of the page. It should stay there until just about all of the info is footnoted to a good source. In keeping with WP policy, this tag should remain as long as there is any controversy over whether there are enough sources or not. It seems that most of the information has been taken from Centennial Founders, not the best or most unbiased source. But if that is the case, at least the article should say so. See Wikipedia:Citing_sources#When_to_cite_sources (and other WP policies). Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 01:44, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Centennial update 2011
[edit]GeorgeLouis, Centennial Eir will be released in October 2011 according County of Los Angeles Department of Regional Planning and should be added it a fact. Tejonranch90 (talk) 16:28, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- Primary source. When it hits WP:SECONDARY sources, it can go in the article. Wait until it is in the news. Binksternet (talk) 00:11, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'm afraid Tejonranch90 is the same guy who has been all over Wikipedia previously under different names posting updates about planned communities. If I am wrong, just set me straight. Oh, I see now that his link has turned red, so he is gone from here under that alias. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 05:12, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I also guessed the same thing about this new editor, that he is another Quentinwllcs/Youtubek sockpuppet about to get blocked. Because of the blocking of so many of his accounts, he's beginning to see that talk page posts are about the only way to get traction. I think that's a step forward, even when the request does not work out the way he wants. Binksternet (talk) 14:40, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
