History
For the school's first 30 years the attendance area for Centaurus High covered Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, and parts of Erie. In 1998 Monarch High School was opened near the Louisville/Superior border to relieve severe overcrowding at Centaurus. Most Louisville and Superior students transferred to the new school leaving Centaurus as one of the three smallest traditional high schools in the district.
Today
Centaurus is filled with a diverse student body. There are many different ethnicities in this small high school. This school also has an AMAZING Pre-Engineering Academy. This consists of 5 main classes you take all 4 years (Engineering in Global Society, Robotics, Civil and Architectural Design, Biomedical Engineering, and Senior Design).

Should we mention some of what was removed?
I am a student at Centaurus, and can confirm that most of what was removed due to lack of a credible source is true. In addition, the band has won 3A state for four years in a row. Should any of this be mentioned? — Preceding unsigned comment added by APerson3334 (talk • contribs) 00:45, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
