Which Hasan Pasha
[edit]A sentence in the section Early Years has been deleted. The editor claims that the Morea event concerns Cezayirli Hasan Pasha rather than Cenaze Hasan Pasha. I wonder if the editor has a source to back the claim . According to my sources both pashas lived in the same era and they both took part in the said event. - According to my sources, the Morea was pacified in 1779 (repressing of the revolted Albanian mercenaries, in the aftermath of the Orlov revolution) by the Kapudan Pasha Hasan, that is Cezayirli. I don't have any information about this Cenaze Pasha, nor any information that he participated in this event, therefore i guessed it was a problem of homonym. If you have a source about his success in supressing a revolt (which one?), no problem. What sounds a bit strange is to write his success, if he was only one among several Hasan repressing this revolt. Or is it another event?--Phso2 (talk) 22:52, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- Well I checked my sources once more and I added the Tripoliçe event. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 09:08, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
