What's the standard here? A look at Category:Islands of Wayne County, Michigan shows that Foo Island, Foo Island, Michigan, and Foo Island (Michigan) are all being used. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 20:44, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support per nom. The guideline is WP:PLACEDAB. For islands, when there is no title conflict, the base name is used per WP:PRECISE and WP:CONCISE. When disambiguation is needed, the state is added within parentheses. Only when it's the name of a settlement is the state added after a comma per WP:USPLACE. Yeah, someone was a bonehead and created all those articles with comma separation instead of parenthesis separation, and needs to do RMs for all of them... I can neither confirm nor deny that it was me. jp×g 19:06, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support. Not sure why this is even a discussion. All other islands and geographic features are named with Michigan in parenthesis, while only municipalities and communities are listed in comma form. Since there are no other "Celeron Island" articles, then the Michigan addition can also be omitted and served as a redirect. —Notorious4life (talk) 01:24, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
