~~If the line was abandoned in 1956, then how was it in operation until the Conrail merger in 1976? I suspect the abandonment date may be a typo, but there's no citation to fact-check this.~~ - I figured it out from the context; there were a lot of items out-of-order so I cleaned it up and inserted some key phrases to make it make sense. 67.8.203.16 (talk) 15:31, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
