WHAS-11 sports reporter
[edit]I recall that in the 70s and maybe 80s, Ledford was also a sports reporter for WHAS-TV in Louisville. I remember seeing him on the evening newscast as the sports anchor. Does anyone know any details of this? --rogerd (talk) 14:38, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- I remember it too, but I can't find any sources to back it up. Help! - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 16:26, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- I googled "Cawood Ledford WHAS" and got mostly links about his relationship to the radio station with the same call letters. They were owned by the same company (Bingham) until the 80's. I found this link that seems to indicate that he worked for WHAS radio and TV from 1956 to 1979. --rogerd (talk) 20:40, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
