Latin Pronounciation
I corrected the latin pronunciation. The "e" in Caveat is pronounced the same as the "e" in Emptor. Unfortunately english speaking people always make the mistake of pronouncing latin "e" as english "e". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.26.17.44 (talk) 10:03, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
- What's the source for the corrected pronunciation? Is it intended to be a Latin pronunciation, and not a usual way English speakers say it? Shouldn't both be expressed?
- /ˌkævɛɑːt ˈɛmptɔr/ is using IPA for English and Latin_spelling_and_pronunciation does not AFAIK tell anything about æ. --146.211.0.10 (talk) 12:09, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
