Length of each bore?
[edit]How long are the respective bores? I believe the eastbound bore is somewhat longer than the westbound. 69.42.7.98 (talk) 04:32, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- The westbound bore is significantly longer. While researching for the article on U.S. 50 I dug up some information about this tunnel, and put it aside thinking I could use it to expand this article. Sadly, that was over a year ago and I forgot. =-) Dave (talk) 01:27, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Satellite images seem to suggest the eastbound bore is longer. This would make sense as it is the inside lanes, thus going through more of the mountain. --LJ (talk) 01:17, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Did I say the westbound is longer? Silly me. You and LJ are correct.Dave (talk) 06:05, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
