Obsolete and/or Hollywood

In this edit summary a user states that "baron" is obsolete and/or Hollywood. That is not true, as demonstrated by recent uses of the phrase "cattle baron", just one of which is cited in this article. 69.3.72.249 (talk) 00:00, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's nonetheless a historical concept, at least in the USA. Today, its use is just press hyperbole. OR maybe ask Cgoodwin if the Aussies still use th term, I won't vouch for their usage either direction. Montanabw^(talk) 00:14, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
