Useful article

[edit]

Thanks for creating this useful article. This interchange is certainly messy enough to deserve separate attention! PeterEastern (talk) 20:38, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious flag

[edit]

I find it hard to believe that anyone travelling east would leave at M6 J1, the reason being that any sensible roads from M6 J6 to the East pass over more accessible functions on the M1. If you are ok with this, I will change it to something more generic. Op47 (talk) 21:33, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

When I lived in Northamptonshire before the A14 the regular route was M6, junction 1, Lutterworth, Husbands Bosworth, Market Harborough etc. Btw, I am not sure what ' accessible functions on the M1' are? was it meant to be 'accessible junctions on the M1'! PeterEastern (talk) 23:26, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You are correct, for functions, read junctions. Are we getting at cross purposes perhaps? I thought the sentence refered to travellers on the M1, it has just dawned on me that you were going South on the M6. In that case, that is the blindingly obvious route to take. I will add some clarification. If its still wrong then please revert and we will discuss further. Op47 (talk) 10:14, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Looks fine. PeterEastern (talk) 13:11, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
M69 motorway was a better route between Coventry area and M1 north and M42 or A38 from Birmingham.--FDent (talk) 20:59, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Now that the scheme is completed and maps have been updated to show this, the map of the future development as below is no longer needed --FDent (talk) 18:12, 20 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
