This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... this claim is clearly ludicrous!? The text on http://freestream.to is clearly lifted from a previous Wikipedia entry and doesn't have any references (for instance) -Tbone556 (talk) 10:16, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This page should not be speedily deleted because Cathy Barry is one of the best known British porn stars. Have also added several more references including the Telegraph and Independent. Odd that an article can be deleted on the nomination of a now-retired editor and 2 non-admins with most editors never even seeing the deletion notice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.18.55.1 (talk) 11:32, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This page should not be speedily deleted because... no opinion personally but two editors have already contested it on the talk page without following the procedure so I'm doing it on their behalf. Take it to ordinary AfD. -Keresaspa (talk) 18:59, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Does someone just go around nominating Wiki articles for speedy deletion? If so (aside from the observation that such people can really have no home life as we understand the term), there are several thousand articles on the subject of becobwebbed politicians and justicial officers of yesteryear, that are so redolent of camphor and mothballs as would surely merit speedy deletion as a matter of extreme emergency!
While working on the cleanup list for WikiProject Bristol I saw that a notability banner had been added to this article suggesting it doesn't meet the General notability guideline. Looking at the article there seem to be a range of sources illustrating she "has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject". The test should perhaps be WP:PORNBIO. Do other editors feel that Cathy Barry meets the notability requirements and the banner should be removed or should it be taken to WP:AFD?— Rodtalk19:13, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
